8/23/2016: Ribbon cutting ceremony at our new building
4/28/2016: We are so excited to share our new name and new logo with you. The Richland Academy School of Excellence has become The Richland School of Academic Arts. Click HERE to watch the video of our unveiling! 
4/21/2016: RSAA celebrates the ground breaking for the new building. We thank, Mayor Tim Theaker, Jodie Perry of the Chamber of commerce, WMFD and Richland Source for attending the ceremony. We can't wait for the opening of the school!!!
4/20/2016: Mr. Jones was awarded a grant from Century Link for $5000!!!! He will be using the money to further develop our school's distance learning program.
4/15/2016: Aeris Young and Gwyneth Jones performed at the Renaissance tonight in Les Miserables (School Edition). We are so proud to have our students on the big stage!!!! This was their first time in a major production.
4/05/2016: WE WON! WE WON! WE WON!!!We are so excited to have been selected as the winners of American College of Education's Youth Art Month Contest. We will be receiving $500 in art supplies and our 8th grader's Batiked Quilt will be the cover photo for ACE's Facebook, Twitter, and Google+ accounts.

Thank you so much American College of Education for honoring our students' hard work.

3/25/2016: Here is the video of our Literacy Night Mallet Madness Performance. Enjoy!!!
3/24/2016: Congressman Pat Tiberi came to RSAA today to talk to the students about his role in The U.S. House of Representatives. The students were given a wonderful glimpse into how government works. Congressman Tiberi took every student's question and created such a wonderful experience for all.
3/17/2016: We are so excited to announce that we will be starting the new year in a new building! We are moving to 1456 Park Ave W., Mansfield! Demolition has begun.
3/06/2016: We are so proud of RSAA student, Elizabeth Harris, who was part of the cast of Mansfield Playhouse's "Into the Woods ". RSAA students rock!!
8/4/2015: Mr. Jones had an article about Skyping with organizations around the world, and how those sessions enriched our students' understanding of the content they were studying. Click HERE to read the article!
5/21/15 Arts Festival: Our students had their artwork displayed in our annual Arts Festival Art Gallery. Our students displayed their amazing talents in song and dance as well in "The Show".

5/14/15 Rockapella: Our Rock Ensemble and A Capella Groups performed in our second annual Rockapella. It was an amazing night to watch the talent within these two groups.

4/23/15 Mr. Jones Received a grant for $3,000.00 from Century Link to take our distance learning program to the next level! WAY TO GO MR. JONES!!!!!

4/23/15 Our 8th grade students Skyped with Teresa Kemp, Director at the Underground Railroad Quilt Code Museum in Atlanta, Georgia. She shared stories of her ancestors who had been enslaved during the Civil War as well as artifacts and documents that helped the students to have a greater understanding of the world that existed in the 1860's.

4/17/15 Our 5th and 6th graders had an opportunity to Skype with author, Sally Walker, today!!! What an amazing experience for them to get to talk to the author of the book they have been reading in class.

4/15/15 We were notified today that we are ranked 58 out of 400 Charter Schools in the state of Ohio! WAY TO GO STUDENTS AND STAFF!!!!!
